{"id":238,"date":"2023-05-05T12:20:20","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T11:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iuma.ulpgc.es\/?page_id=238"},"modified":"2024-03-15T10:52:02","modified_gmt":"2024-03-15T10:52:02","slug":"div-magic","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iuma.ulpgc.es\/en\/divisiones\/div-magic\/","title":{"rendered":"MAGIC (Mathematics, Graphics, and Computing)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-tabs-block-my-block\"><ul class=\"ulpgcds-tabs\"><li href=\"#tab-9401\" class=\"active\">Presentaci\u00f3n<\/li><li href=\"#tab-1799\" class=\"\">Miembros<\/li><li href=\"#tab-9380\" class=\"\">L\u00edneas de Investigaci\u00f3n<\/li><li href=\"#tab-2348\" class=\"\">Proyectos<\/li><\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-tabs-block-tab-item ulpgcds-tab-content active\" id=\"tab-9401\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Presentaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La divisi\u00f3n de Matem\u00e1ticas, Gr\u00e1ficos y Computaci\u00f3n (MAGiC) promueve actividades de investigaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y t\u00e9cnica, que gira en torno a la aplicaci\u00f3n de las Matem\u00e1ticas, Geometr\u00eda, Ingenier\u00eda e Inform\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fue fundada en 2012, y procede de la fusi\u00f3n del anterior grupo de investigaci\u00f3n de Mallas y Geometr\u00eda Computacional (MGC, 1999), de una parte de la divisi\u00f3n SICAD del IUMA y otras l\u00edneas de trabajo procedente de la Escuela de Ingenier\u00edas Industriales y Civiles de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algunos proyectos destacados realizados son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>M\u00e9todos de mallas para la representaci\u00f3n del impacto visual de instalaciones energ\u00e9ticas en entornos de realidad virtual y aumentada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desarrollo de un motor de realidad aumentada basado en geolocalizaci\u00f3n para dispositivos m\u00f3viles. wp-block-paragraph\">C\u00f3digos UNESCO: 3307, 3304, 1206<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SL3.1: Generaci\u00f3n de Mallas y algoritmos de Refinamiento<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"subtitle-s wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>T1: Desarrollo y aplicaci\u00f3n de los algoritmos de refinamiento y desrefinamiento de mallas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La generaci\u00f3n de mallas y los algoritmos de refinamientos son t\u00e9cnicas para discretizar dominios geom\u00e9tricos en cualquier dimensi\u00f3n. Las actividades de investigaci\u00f3n dentro de esta l\u00ednea se centran en el dise\u00f1o, implementaci\u00f3n y validaci\u00f3n de nuevos algoritmos de refinamiento y desrefinamiento. Asimismo, abordamos mediante m\u00e9todos matem\u00e1ticos la caracterizaci\u00f3n y propiedades de estos algoritmos, como convergencia, calidad, finitud etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SL3.2: Geometr\u00eda computacional y Dise\u00f1o Geom\u00e9trico<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"subtitle-s wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>T1: Geometr\u00eda computacional y Dise\u00f1o Geom\u00e9trico<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Geometr\u00eda computacional y el Dise\u00f1o Geom\u00e9trico son \u00e1reas interdisciplinares de investigaci\u00f3n que implican a matem\u00e1ticas, inform\u00e1tica e ingenier\u00eda. Esta l\u00ednea integra tres sub-\u00e1reas m\u00e1s concretas, Mallas, Superficies, Subdivisi\u00f3n y Multiresoluci\u00f3n. Nos centramos en los m\u00e9todos algoritmos, estructuras de datos, propiedades geom\u00e9tricas de mallas y superficies con inter\u00e9s en la ingenier\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SL3.3: Sucesiones generalizadas de Fibonacci<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"subtitle-s wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>T1: Ciertos tipos de sucesiones generalizadas de Fibonacci<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se estudian propiedades num\u00e9ricas, geom\u00e9tricas de las sucesiones de n\u00fameros enteros. Entre ellas se han definido las sucesiones k-Fibonacci, que son una generalizaci\u00f3n de la sucesi\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica de Fibonacci. Estas sucesiones aparecen en diversos \u00e1mbitos de la ciencia como la f\u00edsica, la arquitectura, e incluso la biolog\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n relacionadas con el tri\u00e1ngulo de Pascal y sus generalizaciones, las triangulaciones, los polinomios, funciones hiperb\u00f3licas generalizadas y teor\u00eda de variable compleja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SL3.4: Ingenier\u00eda Gr\u00e1fica, modelado y CAD<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"subtitle-s wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>T1: Ingenier\u00eda Gr\u00e1fica, modelado y CAD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se centra en las t\u00e9cnicas y herramientas para la representaci\u00f3n y modelado geom\u00e9trico. Existe software especializado 2D y 3D, entre los cuales se incluyen las herramientas CAD. Esta l\u00ednea persigue su uso eficiente para la producci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica de calidad en la Ingenier\u00eda, por ejemplo desarrollo de planos y 3D modelos y visualizaci\u00f3n avanzada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SL3.5: Ingenier\u00eda Geod\u00e9sica y aplicaciones geoespaciales<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"subtitle-s wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>T1: Ingenier\u00eda Geod\u00e9sica y aplicaciones geoespaciales<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An\u00e1lisis de datos GNSS (Sistema Global de Navegaci\u00f3n por Sat\u00e9lite) mediante software de aplicaci\u00f3n. Por ejemplo se desarrolla una aplicaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica y visual para la selecci\u00f3n de estaciones GNSS. Desarrollo de globos virtuales geo-referenciados para ordenadores personales y m\u00f3viles.
