{"id":9150,"date":"2025-06-06T01:47:02","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T01:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iuma.ulpgc.es\/?page_id=9150"},"modified":"2025-06-16T09:48:30","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T09:48:30","slug":"postgrado-metda","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iuma.ulpgc.es\/en\/postgrado\/postgrado-metda\/","title":{"rendered":"METDA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading page-title\">Master's Degree in Electronics and Applied Digital Technology (METDA)<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Master's Degree in Electronics and Applied Digital Technology (METDA), with a research and professional orientation, offers advanced training in microelectronics, integrated circuit design, reconfigurable computer systems, state-of-the-art wireless communications and production and testing of electronic systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are postgraduate studies in Dual training, organised as a 60-credit course in two semesters. The first semester is oriented towards basic training and the second semester towards specialisation, which for students following dual training will be carried out in the company environment with a training contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training offered includes subjects with important tools and techniques related to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research Methods, including Computational Statistics and <em>Machine Learning<\/em> (ML), Optimisation, Design of experiments, Modelling and fitting of experimental data, Big-Data, data science, data mining and analytics, Modelling and simulation, Classification and imaging, and Accelerators for AI techniques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design of complex electronic systems, including the design of Integrated Circuits, Systems-on-Chip (SoC), Electronic Systems Design for applications in Industrial Electronics and Computer Electronics, Communications Electronics, Electronics for Sensors, and Embedded Systems and Digital Systems for the Internet of Things (IoT).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The METDA is designed for professionals with a background in engineering, especially in the fields of industrial electronics and telecommunications, although it is open to other related degrees.
