Las actividades de investigaci\u00f3n dentro de esta l\u00ednea se centran en el dise&ntilde;o,  implementaci\u00f3n y validaci\u00f3n de nuevos algoritmos de refinamiento y desrefinamiento.  Asimismo, abordamos mediante m&eacute;todos matem\u00e1ticos la caracterizaci\u00f3n y propiedades de estos  algoritmos, como convergencia, calidad, finitud etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SL3.2.: Geometr\u00eda computacional y Dise&ntilde;o Geom&eacute;trico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>T1: Geometr\u00eda computacional y Dise&ntilde;o Geom&eacute;trico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Geometr\u00eda computacional y el Dise&ntilde;o Geom&eacute;trico son \u00e1reas interdisciplinares de  investigaci\u00f3n que implican a matem\u00e1ticas, inform\u00e1tica e ingenier\u00eda. Esta l\u00ednea integra tres  sub-\u00e1reas m\u00e1s concretas, Mallas, Superficies, Subdivisi\u00f3n y Multiresoluci\u00f3n. Nos centramos  en los m&eacute;todos algoritmos, estructuras de datos, propiedades geom&eacute;tricas de mallas y  superficies con inter&eacute;s en la ingenier\u00eda.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>SL3.3.: Sucesiones generalizadas de Fibonacci<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>T1: Certain types of generalized Fibonacci sequences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Se estudian propiedades num&eacute;ricas, geom&eacute;tricas de las sucesiones de n\u00fameros enteros. Entre  ellas se han definido las sucesiones k-Fibonacci, que son una generalizaci\u00f3n de la sucesi\u00f3n  cl\u00e1sica de Fibonacci. Estas sucesiones aparecen en diversos \u00e1mbitos de la ciencia como la  f\u00edsica, la arquitectura, e incluso la biolog\u00eda. Tambi&eacute;n est\u00e1n relacionadas con el tri\u00e1ngulo  de Pascal y sus generalizaciones, las triangulaciones, los polinomios, funciones  hiperb\u00f3licas generalizadas y teor\u00eda de variable compleja.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SL3.4.: Ingenier\u00eda Gr\u00e1fica, modelado y CAD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>T1: Graphics Engineering, Modeling, and CAD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Se centra en las t&eacute;cnicas y herramientas para la representaci\u00f3n y modelado geom&eacute;trico. <\/p>\n<p>Existe software especializado 2D y 3D, entre los cuales se incluyen las herramientas CAD.  Esta l\u00ednea persigue su uso eficiente para la producci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica de calidad en  la Ingenier\u00eda, por ejemplo desarrollo de planos y 3D modelos y visualizaci\u00f3n avanzada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SL3.5.: Ingenier\u00eda Geod&eacute;sica y aplicaciones geoespaciales<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>T1: Ingenier\u00eda Geod&eacute;sica y aplicaciones geoespaciales<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An\u00e1lisis de datos GNSS (Sistema Global de Navegaci\u00f3n por Sat&eacute;lite) mediante software de  aplicaci\u00f3n. Por ejemplo se desarrolla una aplicaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica y visual para la selecci\u00f3n  de estaciones GNSS.<\/li>\n<li>Desarrollo de globos virtuales geo-referenciados para ordenadores personales y m\u00f3viles.
