{"id":8694,"date":"2024-04-23T12:42:19","date_gmt":"2024-04-23T12:42:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iuma.ulpgc.es\/?p=8694"},"modified":"2024-04-23T15:07:34","modified_gmt":"2024-04-23T15:07:34","slug":"el-consejo-de-gobierno-aprueba-el-nuevo-titulo-de-master-metda-impartido-por-el-iuma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iuma.ulpgc.es\/en\/el-consejo-de-gobierno-aprueba-el-nuevo-titulo-de-master-metda-impartido-por-el-iuma\/","title":{"rendered":"ULPGC Governing Council approved the new METDA Master's degree offered by IUMA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Governing Council of the ULPGC, in session on 23rd April, approved the new master's degree proposed by the IUMA called \"Master's Degree in Electronics and Applied Digital Technology (METDA)\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Master's degree offers 30 places for new students and its objective is to cover a real and current social demand in the field of electronics, microelectronics and its multiple applications in the business sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> The main novelty of this Master's Degree is the incorporation of dual training for its students in important national and international technology companies, which will allow a great job projection for its graduates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the first dual mode master's degree to be taught at the ULPGC, which is a challenge for the teaching team and a magnificent opportunity for its graduates to enter the world of work in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research areas that allow direct access to the Telecommunications and Computer Engineering doctoral programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training contracts with national and international technology companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The master's degree aims to train professionals in the necessary skills to generate added value for society and contribute to the diversification of the local economy.
