Carlos Vega García is a telecommunications engineer specialized in electronic systems. He completed his degree at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) between 2016 and 2020. He continued his studies at this same university with a master’s degree in electronics and applied telecommunications, which ended in September 2021.

During the years of his studies, he has acquired professional experience by working in multiple projects. He has practical knowledge in the development of industrial IOT solutions, electronic manufacturing, Deep Learning, FPGAs, mobile applications and additive manufacturing. In addition, he has been recognized with multiple awards for his academic career and work, such as the first prize “Futuro de las telecomunicaciones” for the mention of electronic systems in the 2020 edition.

Currently, he is developing his doctoral thesis: “Classification and Diagnosis of Heterogeneous Data Sources Using Artificial Intelligence with a Probabilistic Approach and Real-Time Restrictions”. It focuses on the development and implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms for use in the clinical environment. To carry out this work, he has received a predoctoral contract for four years, which will end in 2026.
