Postgraduate
IUMA offers the Master's Degree in Electronics and Applied Digital Technology (METDA), with a research and professional orientation (Dual training), which provides advanced training in microelectronics, integrated circuit design, reconfigurable computer systems, next-generation wireless communications and production and testing of electronic systems.
On the other hand, it offers the PhD in Telecommunication Technologies and Computational Engineering which is born from the integration of two programmes active for years at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria that have demonstrated levels of quality and excellence: (1) PhD in Telecommunication Technologies, linked to the University Institute of Applied Microelectronics (IUMA) and (2) PhD in Intelligent Systems and Numerical Applications in Engineering, attached to the University Institute of Intelligent Systems and Numerical Applications in Engineering (SIANI). The grouping of these two programmes enhances the capacity to develop an interdisciplinary doctoral programme, thereby strengthening links with other R&D&I agents.
